Yesfan, bluegrass in Tenn ?

Barney

Longhorns, Cowboys, Spurs, & Rangers...love Texas
Most know I only have OTA & my local PBS has 4 channels (Spanish, Q, Create, & PBS). While doing dishes I heard about a Bluegrass concert in a cave underground in Tenn that willbe broadcast. I'll go look on their site to see the dates etc...but it seems its a big event there. Would love to be there for some bluegrass....I remember in my younger days & visit Bloomington, Ind & going out in the hills to listen to bluegrass.....those were the days.
Found a link:

I still can't find the schedulefor this & what PBS channel...18.1 or 18.2, or 18.3...18.4 is Spanish here in the Austin area.

Some great stuff eh, Barney , , , ,

I think all the ones I've been to have a stage area, and hay bales for couples to sit on.
Heard some fine music and had some fine times . . .

Yes it was........we all laid down on the grass & smoked some "grass" while looking up at the stars. The music was wonderful...close your eyes & dream with the music........
Life was good then.

Never been there Barn, but looks interesting. It's 70 miles NW of Chattanooga, so it's fairly close I would think.

I watched one these on PBS kinda caught it halfway through was very good at first thought it was Red Rocks till I seen the stalactites. Have to wonder how they could ever have gotten it passes through the EPA to have concerts there due to the fragile ecosystem of a cave someone could step on a snail darter or somethin.

Strike one up in a cave everyone gets high men women children babies :D might not be the best environment for the Jib.

For me it's always been kickass bluegrass, coultry/folk, out in the country, nature preserves, under the stars on a warm summer's night. Mostly local.

and carry in your own cooler ... Excellent music by excellent musicans of all ages . . . no really big, filmed happenings.
