That makes perfect sense. Need to look at Dolby page. I assume then that the surrounds need to come down in height? Mine are currently a couple feet above the listening position.
I have a drop ceiling so I suppose it would be easy enough to install in ceiling speakers for the height/atmos element.
So just to I have my terminology correct, you have 5 surrounds, 4 atmos and 2 subs. So you went from 7 channels amplified to 9. Does that mean that you had to buy a new avr/ prepro?
