Sometimes I like the quote from one of the Hitchhiker's Guide books...
"If it's between that and taking the money and running, well, I for one could do with the exercise."
Stevie Nicks did too- https://www.billboard.com/articles/business/publishing/9494428/stevie-nicks-publishing-primary-wave-music
Seems like some of these artists are cashing in for retirement. Heck, if I had something worth that kind of scratch I'd have a hard time not taking the money and...
Razor Crest is supposed to kind of be a POS. That fits with where Mando was when we met him- a bounty hunter just scraping by. Even if the thing was in good shape, it's still ugly, but then again, there's not a large number of big vehicles in our world that are all that great looking. It seems...
Just finished S2E6. Man, Boba Fett kicked more tail in 5 minutes than he did in all the movies put together. And now he's with Mando?
And Grogu was slapping around stormtroopers like that? Baby Yoda maybe going a little dark side... man, this is good stuff. This is the Star Wars we always knew...
That's in the "Legends" portion- I don't think it's been added to the Disney owned Star Wars universe yet. Some of it they're using, some they're not. The Dark Troopers have been brought back in big time, and they were from video games.
I found a new streaming app yesterday- I have it running on our Apple TV 4K, but it's also for phones and other streaming boxes. It's called Pluto, and has a lot of classic stuff. One "channel" was dedicated to vintage Price is Right- I was watching early 80s episodes last night (some real turds...
They're saying 4K with HDR. Disney+ manages to have Atmos support too, so I can't imagine it wouldn't be possible for them to stream in such audio and visual quality.
Warner Brothers announced they're running an experiment in 2021- all theatrical releases will simultaneously be released on HBO Max:

Some caveats- they'll...
Field of Dreams
Flight of the Navigator
The Truman Show
Cannonball Run
Smokey and the Bandit
WarGames
Airplane
Sabrina (1995, has Harrison Ford)
The Gods Must Be Crazy
The Integra I got last year is still doing great- I don't use it with external amps, but I like it.
Heck, if you lived closer I have an old Denon 3808 I'm not using. That thing kicked all kinds of tail, it just wasn't up to switching 4K video or juggling a lot of sources.
It must be made by GM. Runs like crap longer than most others will run at all.
But yeah, nice to see things moving and stuff getting fleshed out a bit more.
I've been an Xbox player, but I think I'm officially out of consoles. I hadn't expected to go with a XBox One, but did because my brother was pushing me to do so for Destiny. I realized I just don't have the time or interest to play modern games- they seem aimed at keeping you playing like it's...
