Meh, we are far from cutting the cord. We pay $130 a month for phone, TV (one dvr, one regular HD box) and internet and we renew the deal every two years as new customer. If we only got internet and phone, it would be about $90.

Aren't you an Apple fan? Apple Music is $10 a month and $15 for a family plan for up to 5 accounts. I think it's 320kbps AAC.
Plus Sonos plays well with Apple devices.
I think that this is going to be my next streaming device. I see that the new Fire TV is getting some bad reviews so it may make me switch to the new Roku.
The only time I have bought an extended warranty is the extended Applecare warranty for my wife's Macbook. It made sense to have 3 year warranty on a $2500 computer.
