    ATI Class D Amps

Rammis....... What's your take on these? I remember lengthy discussions a few years ago where Class D technology wasn't quite there yet. Don't remember why but thought the consensus was increased distortion (IM?). Would like to know your opinion. I have an 1802 and love the amp with my 4...

What Movie(s) Did You Watch Today?

Watched 10 Cloverfield Lane last week. Really enjoyed it. John Goodman was excellent and the audio was fantastic. I didn't like the end, but up until the final 15 minutes or so.....really enjoyed it.

Heeman - WI Basement HT Build

No real important reason. Just curious. First off, very impressive room and you should be proud! When I was putting my room together, I was waffling between having a room pitch black for video or keeping it lighter for different moods. Let me explain. Sometimes, when I listen to music on...

    SVS SB12-NSD is on sale

I have the 1500 dollar PSA s3000i sub. It's a dual 15" sealed sub the size of an end table. It replaced an svs pc 25-31 nsd this past spring. My room is 2700cu ft or so and acoustically treated. All I can say is that there is absolutely no comparison. For music it is tight and disappears...

    New Receiver needed

Thanks guys. Overall thoughts: it's nice. I have not had time to play with it; calibrate, etc., but first thought is that is has nice functionality and seems easy to use. I'll try the YPAO calibration just to see what it does, but will probably end up setting the sub up manually. I don't...

    New Receiver needed

So, how many HDMI 2.0a connections do you think are needed? I'm looking at two receivers now, one is last year's Yamaha RX-V679 with 3 HDMI inputs that are HDCP 2.2 and one output (with 6 total HDMI inputs) and can upconvert to 4K. The other, this year's lower end Yamaha has 4 HDMI inputs with...
