The revolution that was the B-52s!

Maybe this is what the DJ was referring to...... http://www.frontiertouring.com/simplemindsb52s I can't see whose who in the bands though. I doubt Keith will be with them, as you mentioned, since he's retired from touring.

The revolution that was the B-52s!

That I couldn't tell you. I'm sure it may not be the original lineup, but the DJ didn't mention anything about them being a cover band. At the same time, you have to wonder where the DJ was also getting his info.

Yes inducted to Hall of Fame

It's about time. Obviously as a long time fan, this makes me happy.

Rogue One a Star Wars story

Agree 100%. Saw it last night and thought it was great. I would have liked to seen more Vader, but I saw more of him than expected, so all is good. Honestly, if the next installments are as good as Rogue One and Force Awakens, I'm going to hate the prequels (I,II,III) that much more.

The revolution that was the B-52s!

Heard on the radio yesterday where they would be touring with Simple Minds in Australia in the coming months. I wouldn't mind seeing that show if they do that in the States.

Aren't we past this? Crazy cable claims!

Talking about directional.....Sometimes my cables tell me to turn left at 300ft, then my destination will be on the right. I see the neighborhood McDonald's to my immediate right and think "how in the fuck did I just get here" as I was on my couch the whole time this transpired. I mean...

    And now, Greg Lake; RIP

I thought this was a pretty cool performance. I liked Greg Lake, despite me not being a real big fan of ELP. "From The Beginning" is my favorite song by them. I think I liked Greg better with King Crimson (Court of the Crimson King for example). He was definitely my favorite of the trio...

    Marvel Luke Cage on NETFLIX

^^ I also remember him as one of Voldermort's cronies in the Harry Potter films.

    Marvel Luke Cage on NETFLIX

If he played the Purple Man, I totally agree.

We all know Yes is completely unique, but check this out...

This was the original line up in the first 4 tracks. Howe replaced Peter Banks on The Yes Album which was the last album that keyboardist Tony Kaye played on until he returned on the 90125 album in '82. I think the first two albums deserve more credit than they get sometimes. They tend to be...

    Marvel Luke Cage on NETFLIX

I know DD has two seasons, but I'd say Luke Cage is just right behind DD season #2 if not just as good. I like all three shows a lot, but Luke Cage and DD#2 were about dead even for me as my favs (I like the Punisher, so there's that reason). Just like with Robert Downing Jr with Ironman, Mike...

    Some Roku Questions

Thanks guys. I guess I'll just keep what I have going for now. When I get ready to get a new TV, I'll get the Roku Ultra with it and put it in the living room. It will replace the TV and Roku 3 which will then go downstairs to my bar. I think I'll just leave the bedroom TV/Roku 2 as is since the...

    Some Roku Questions

Exactly why I was asking. If the navigation and user interface are faster/simpler, That may still sway me. Anyone know how the $50 sticks compare to the higher priced 3s, 4s, Ultras? I think I'll get the Ultra and avoid the 4 when I splurge on the new set. I'll get a stick for the bedroom. The...

    Some Roku Questions

I have a Roku 2 in the bedroom and a 3 in the living room. I see now along with the 4 there are the Stick, Ultra, and others some with HDR and "MIMO", so in sets my confusion. I think I understand what HDR is after seeing a thread on it by Zing in this same section but what the heck is MIMO...

How do you buy your music now?

I buy my music from Amazon. I have a music list I go through when I can't decide what to get next. I rip all my music to Flac for my squeezeboxes and MP3 for my Jeep and phone. If the album from Amazon are auto-rip, I download the MP3s. I have a back up that's on a Western Digital Cloud drive...

    Reminder... Genesis kicked ass!

I'd recommend either Abacab or "Genesis". If you are already a prog fan, then I totally agree with Flint. I think Trick of the Tail or Wind and Wuthering (my fav) would be good first choices. I also like the live albums Seconds Out and Three Sides Live. If you're a fan of drums, those are...
