Picked these JBL L110 speakers up cheap because they were missing the woofers. The up side is they came with mint grills and factory boxes. The original woofers were LE111, black frames and aquaplas on the back of the cones. I found some LE-10H-1 that have the aquaplas on the front of the cones...
Went to a demo of this over the top reel to reel.
From their website:

A friend of mine sold his business and sold me some left over sealed MFSL Test Pressings. Miles Davis, McCoy Tyner, Art Pepper, Sinatra, Joel, Hays, Ronstadt, Taylor, Dillon, Bennett and more.
While I am stuck at home, I did some work on this cd player today. This one is built like a tank. The face and top are machined from billet and very heavy. Got it up and going in a few hours.
Today's project was replacing the fans in the NU6000 amp and painting it black. The fan noise went from 45dB to 15dB. It is quiet now and blends better with the other gear in the home theater.
I had a few friends over yesterday. We spent the day listening to music and playing around with different gear.
The main system started out with horn and tube amps. This changed to solid state amps late in the day.
