I've just upgraded the forum software to Xenforo 2.0. Please let me know if you have any problems with it. I'm still working on installing styles... coming soon.
Well my timeline for making a change in the basement appears to have pushed up. The dependable Epson has developed a green tinted/hue vertical line that displays on the screen about 50% of the time. The projector is used for my kids PS5 gaming for a vast majority of its use these days and they...
Will be interested to hear your thoughts on Hisensve vs TCL. Their model line is very competive against eachother. I've been wanting to upgrade our master bedroom TV to the Hisense U7 65" but have been reluctant to fork over the $.
The snakeoil salesman who sells Thaddeus the elixir feels like he's directly from a side mission in New Vegas. Even the way he was walking/runnning seemed like he was trying to mimic the character in the game. I loved that touch!
I'm surprised we have no thread on the new Fallout series on Prime Video. I have just two episodes left in the first season and I think it is really well done. Very good adaptation of the game. For anyone who knows and loves the stories and imagery from the game series should give this a try...
I agree, it's not insignificant. I am sure I would immediately feel the difference. On the other hand, better brightness and probably a crisper image. That's what's making it a difficult choice.
I'm in no hurry though, no plans to make any immediate timeline purchases. Perhaps 90" TVs will...
I decided on somewhat of a whim last night to change out the bulb on my projector. I had gotten up to 4,300 hrs. on the original bulb! I have been fighting off the urge to upgrade to 4k in the basement and thought I might as well enjoy a brighter image in the meantime.
The process of...
I have sorbothane pads between my speakers and the stands. They're intended to absorb vibrations but they're also fairly tacky to the touch. Tacky enough to keep them from being bumped off the stands inadvertently without permanently attaching them.
I saw it last night too and unfortunately I could not get a seat in the IMAX theater. That being said I think the was done justice on a standard screen as well.
I agree with pretty much all points on your review. The sound takes the viewer on a rollercoaster. There are times I just needed a...
I still play a little but more often I just watch him. It's fun! When he gets to a hard boss we sometimes take turns and I help him come up with a strategy to win. We also take our time. We've been playing Horizon Forbidden West for like a year and we're in no huge hurry to finish but we...
My son has been patiently waiting for this for a long time. He's playing it right now as a matter of fact! I play a little but he's far better at it than me.
I was happy to see Tears for Fears Songs from the Big Chair on there. I love that album and have been looking for a copy of the 2014 remix by Steven Wilson on Blu Ray Pure Audio. They can be found on eBay for around $100 but I can’t quite justify a Benjamin for one album.
We have a PS5 and an Xbox One X. The kids and I play the Xbox more and I truly attribute that to Game Pass. It really did level the playing field (end then some) for Microsoft.
I don't dislike the PS5 at all. Their exclusive games are great and it's a good console.
