2000 Acoustics

Has anyone ever heard of that brand? I picked up a pair of 2000 Acoustics bookshelf speakers at a thrift store about a week ago. I couldn't really do a proper sound test on them but they were in good shape. I will be giving them to my father-in-law as he received an old LXI stereo (made by Sanyo) last summer and the speakers he had were shot. My thrift store find will do the job for casual listening in his basement. His main system is just a cheap Sony mini system so great sound is not really a priority.

The only speaker I've heard close to that would be Boston Acoustics, but kudos on the find. Hope they bring your father in law many years of use.
