I use OmniMounts for the surrounds in my HT and prefer them, I usually go the next weight rating up from my speakers weight to be on the safe side and not have to worry at all. But I’m not sure how yours broke so it may not even be weight related.

Like Ole Greenteeth's Commie Flag they were just hanging on the wall inside of my garage.

I really have no earthly idea how they broke. I just remember noticing one of them was broken and then the other.
