Afflicted (1st person horror sleeper)

I normally hate first person hand held movies. I could tolerate Cloverfield because I am a huge monster movie junkie but otherwise I am just not a fan of this cinematic technique. But a friend whose taste in horror movies I trust recommended this one and I actually kind of enjoyed it. There are some excellent and intense action sequences that are pretty original and would only really work in first person. I won't spoil it other then to make a small suggestion that you immediately hit stop as soon as the credits start rolling. There is a post credits bonus footage scene that clearly should have stayed on the editing room floor and IMO takes away from the movie. So just shut it off.

I have been meaning to look into Afflicted since you mentioned it in the other OP. Barbi loves movies such as this. Thanks for the recommendations. :handgestures-thumbup:

Bump: Hardcore Henry was pretty nuts. Graphically violent, crazy, dizzying and nuts. Couple of scenes are great home theater demo material (mini-gun motorcycle side car chase scene) and if you are a fan of Sharlto Copley (District 9, Chappie, Elysium, Open grave) he is very entertaining in this movie playing an array of multiple different wacky characters. Plot? Plausibility? Who cares. Take a Dramamine, turn up the volume and check it out if you like 1st person action.
