We don't have a "What are you watching" thread, so I made a separate thread for this disk, even though there's a bit of discussion back at S&V.

Beautiful picture, great sound, it's done in the Planet Earth/Life documentary style but without narration, and it focuses more on humans and their rituals/habitats. I had to giggle at some of the third-world dances, chants and rituals shown, but I've played the "Bunny Hop" at enough weddings to realize we're all in the same boat... :teasing-neener:

This is the only disk I've played that has made me wish for a bigger TV!
 
In my opinion Baraka is the best Blu-ray conversion yet. They did a tremendous job and is on my list as a reference disc.
