Bass Pigs Lair

No that's another pole. Look at the ceiling where the hole is still there where the support pol was. And then look at that hole in relation to the light and the other pics. He pulled that bitch out.

Hard to say. If you count the ceiling tiles from the front wall where the OC fiberglass panels are, that cutout underside of beam is about just beyond 3rd tile from the wall. The column looks to be about 5th or 6th tile from the wall. http://aamserver.dnsalias.com/basspig/i ... 202006.jpg It could have been where he mounted the projector once.

At any rate, moving a column like that is no simple or cheap task. It appears to be the basement which means it's bearing the load of floor/s above. To move it, it requires new footing which means knocking out the concrete floor slab, digging out the ground, pouring concrete footing engineered to support the weight, reinforcing the existing beam to be able to deal with altered load point, getting it approved by structural engineer and...etc. It's a big load of work. If the guy really did it for this home theater, then as Matt pointed out, he is insane.

I'm just amazed that his woofer and subwoofer driver capability appears to be far more than the rest of the spectrum. The key is to use enough subwoofer to match the output of the speakers which provide coverage of the rest of the audio spectrum. His appears limited for frequencies above the bass and low midrange.

When did Pigs start having lairs? Shouldn't pigs have pens not lairs? That website is hard to follow.
