Bastard Executioner

Just read that the show has been axed. No season 2.

It had potential but apparently the writers couldn't seem to find it.

But at least we still have Real Housewives of (fill in whatever city is the flavor of the season).

I only watched the first episode, which was pretty brutal. I have the rest of it on my DVR, but have not gotten around to it.

Like Haywood I had all episodes recorded but will now just delete. I don't need to get interested in another sries that gets canceled after one season. No idea when I would have gotten to it anyway.

I could not get past Katey Sagel as the witch, “Annora of the Alders”. She was awesome in SOA, but no so much here.

I think this comment summed up the show for me: Kurt Sutter is his own executioner. The "Sons of Anarchy" creator has pulled the plug on his super-bloody (but curiously plodding) medieval drama.

"The audience has spoken and unfortunately the word is 'meh,'" he says in the ad. "So with due respect, we bring our mythology to an epic and fiery close." The decision was made with FX Networks CEO John Landgraf, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
