Bought the Shure SE425...

My son is very excited, he knows already. He will soon suck with the best of us. I look forward to testing those babies.

So, we're sure that GD's son is excited about Shure and GD is going to bogart the new Shure for sure. Makes sense...for Shure. :happy-smileygiantred:

I finally pried them from his ears. Not really, he gave them to me last Saturday night to try out. I gave them a 2 hour audition. The SE425 has excellent mid-range as expected. I compared the SE425 to my equally priced Ortofon IEM. The SE425 has better mids but the Ortofon has a slight edge in upper treble. Bass sounds great on both.

Very nice IEM.
