This will probably only be of interest to myself and @Wardsweb, and its pretty long, but I picked up a few new techniques, and was stunned by the final product. There were also five or six very questionable practices (including two that really had me wincing), but to each his own. Process took so long I think the craftsman even had a haircut during the filming.
HIgh-end Audio, fine woodworking, what more could you need? (well, besides babes and barbeque)
 
It is a small world. I am just starting a custom Dual 301 build for a friend. The base is 2" thick purpleheart. The plinth is 1-1/2 slate Paperstone that will be CNC machined. The 301 is coming from The Classic Turntable Company out of the UK. Along with a brass platter. The two tonearms are an AMG 12j2 and 9w2.
