Consumer Reports on PLasma vs lcd and 3D

That was very interesting!

I've read that movie theaters use polarized images with glasses that have polarized lenses (set at 45 degrees) so the glasses themselves don't need batteries; it looks like the Samsung sets use the same technology, while the Pannie used true "shuttering" lenses. Wish they would've mentioned that in the review.

I don't normally watch TV lying down but that's good info to know... :think:
