Fascinating article:

http://www.wired.com/wiredscience/2011/11/does-music-make-wine-taste-better/

Its now apparent that Pauly's demonic debauchery with Beelzebub's Bourbon the night before completely threw off the results of Mackwood's Meticulous Mackie Match, featuring 27 versions of Tom Sawyer in duplicitous digital depressing dreck. When I host a GTG everyone shall be chained in silent solitary, living on bread and water, for 27 days before we compare bluray audio, .mp3, and an Edison cylinder, which will be a much more accurate comparison.

(and in case you're wondering what I'm drinking now, it's a Chateau Clarke Listrae-Medoc, 2004; I left out a lot of the longer foreign words)

EDIT: the link is much more serious, and interesting, than my babbling...)

Hey, I was drinking only the finest of bourbons!

Actually that's an interesting article, thanks for the link.

I absolutely believe that music can change the way we perceive taste the article only strengthened that.

Thanks for the link!

I think that Snowman's "The Rope Challenge" detailed notes speak for themselves when it comes to the interaction of alcohol and sound:

Version 1: "Hung Over"

Version 2: "Head Hurts"

Version 3: "Asprin" [Apparently it also affects your spelling ability!]

Version 4: "Nap Time"

Version 5" "Need Beer"

Jeff

ps. I'm glad I saved those sheets!
