DON'T Ever Do This

The original cover on the Sansui 5050 does not have ventilation openings. The receiver only pushes 30 watts per channel into 8 ohms. Apparently the owner of that particular receiver re-covered it to make it match her cat. I found that photo on a Facebook group called "Vintage Hi-Fi and Stereo Equipment."

It's not hard to do but why the cat? I mean cats don't last as long as typical receivers do... :roll: What happens when that cat passes? Let me guess, she will look for another one with similar pattern. :think:
 
I don't try to figure out the mind of a nut job and neither should you. My receiver matches my cat too but that is because they both are black. No mods needed.
