Matthew and I first started playing this well over a year ago (two years ago?) and both thoroughly enjoy it. We've played through the game 3 times now while waiting for the sequel (which came out last week). It can be had cheap ($10 at Amazon I believe) and is a blast.
It is a typical RPG (not MMO) based on D&D rules, etc. The story is excellent and the game is bug free. I run it on my laptop and the graphics are very nice with no lag.
If you liked RPG games from the mid to late 80s (as I did) you should love this. You can check out the demo here.
