'Fess Up - Who Watched the Wedding

I know we are all manly men ( well almost all Matt) but who either got up early or set the DVR to catch "The Wedding".

Was on when I got up at 6:30 and I will have to say quite a visual event with Willie and Harry is their dress uniforms and Kate in a simple but gorgeous wedding gown. If you looked close when Kate was escorted from outside into Westminster it was very evident from her body's reaction that it was a bit chilly. :-o :eusa-whistle:

10 minutes of it when I was making breakfast, but that was because that was the only thing on network tv. I'll just be glad when this day is over.

My wife was watching it this morning. When she started leaving for work I took control of the remote so that ended that!

Wow, even this place can't escape it.

Personally, I'll be glad when it's all over.

A certain question from the movie The 40 Year Old Virgin is running through my head right now...

"You know how I know you're gay?"

:laughing-rolling:

CBS News just had a ten-minute blurb on the wedding, I did watch that. And I have now chosen a new career path:

I'm gonna design women's hats for Royal Weddings!

I have what it takes, I know I do! And I bet you can charge Monster-Cable prices! :banana-dance: :banana-dance: :banana-dance:

:happy-smileygiantred:

I watched it, my kids are up at 6 anyway. My daughter wanted to see the woman who was going to get married to a prince and become a princess!! She also asked "If that man with the sword (Prince Charles I believe it was, or maybe Phillip) was going to kill a dragon!!
If Kate looked like Camilla I wonder if the coverage would have been as intense??

I watch the local news in the morning while I'm getting ready for work. It's pretty much the only TV that I watch and since all the channels (no cable or sat) were carrying it, I could not avoid it.

Like everyone else, I caught the morning news and must say, I thought Pippa was looking good, too!

I watched it,
I guess it's somewhat of an obligation for Canadians? You know... cuz... their relationship with England is little different from US.

There was a short clip on one of the news channels last night, I'm sure it'll go viral if it hasn't already. It was either the minister who performed the ceremony, or the guy greeting everyone at the front door. It was after the ceremony, the church was empty, and the ol' geezer did a cartwheel down the church aisle, because everything had gone so smoothly. Damn that was funny!

EDIT: Okay, it was a "verger" whatever that is:

I DVR'd the NBC Primetime version, and all Access Hollywood, does that count? All I needed to see were the visual highlights.

Like most guys I don't give a hoot about weddings, more about the bachelor part for me. However I did think it was cool watching it in Hi-Def, lots of red, black, and gold, more like an event than just a wedding. I would love to have heard the acoustics and music inside West Minster Abbey, glad to see Kate's dress did not look like Di's overstuffed, creampuff contraption. I also do not really care about the royal family, but I thought it was interesting to watch in a pomp and circumstance way.

I also thought Pippa rocked the house, and I wish my dad had a convertible Aston Martin to lend me like William does. However no way would I ever be one of those people who camped out for hours or several days, Maybe I am not as burned out as some, as I work kind of odd hours and do not watch very much tv news.

Where do I hand in my man card at?

I caught about 15 seconds and it was of the younger sisters ass, so I figured that was the best of the wedding and didn't need to see anymore. Damn she had a nice ass.
