Focal Grande Utopia EM being made

Here is a video of how a Grande Utopia EM speaker is made, I was surprised at how much of the speaker is MDF. As so many speakers today use some form of polymer composite material for the enclosure. FYI the EM stands for it's use of an electromagnetic woofer instead of using a standard permanent magnet structure.

Those things are sexy as hell, but accoustic issues aside, they don't even look right in that room.

I have had Focal's in my car for over 3 years now, and I love them! This is my go to speaker co. for car audio.
Haven't has the pleasure to here their home stuff yet.
