If you've settled on those Legacy Classic HD speakers, given their efficiency, I'd like to suggest you look for a used Parasound A23. You won't find one anywhere near the price of the Emotiva (and if you did, you wouldn't want it) but if you can find a way to swing $500-$600, that would be a nice match.
