Framed Canvas Artwork for Acoustic Panels

So I found a really badass Led Zeppelin canvas that would look amazing on the rear wall if my new space happens.

Im contemplating demo'ing the bar and creating a dedicated room that will be 19'6" x 13'6" x 10'. Planning a 7.1.2 room with 2 rows of seating.

Too early to start a build thread, but if the stars align later this month it may be full soeed ahead.

So back to the original point, if I get a super badass (unframed) canvas print and then fill the back side with OC 705 or Rocksul, will it be effective?.

I'm thinking about adding to the frame to make it thicker and possibly more effective.

As long as it's not a painted canvas, I see no reason why it wouldn't be effective. GIK Acoustics makes such things.
Ya, thats what I was thinking, and I am assuming it is a print and not painting.

I have looked at the stuff GIK has and it definitely provides a more pleasant aesthetic than the standard grey panels.
And, standard grey panels may end up being what happens.
