I don’t think I fully understand frisson. But I was trying to think of stuff that might qualify on my own. This probably ain’t a cigar, and it might not even be close. But I’m throwing out Tears For Fears song “River Of Mercy”.

Only because it starts out with sirens and takes maybe half a minute before essentially changing how the song sounds. But I wouldn’t say that is necessarily unexpected. But what comes after is definitely more pleasing to hear than what comes prior. So, maybe? But probably not.

If not that then maybe Tears For Fears other song “Please Be Happy”, but frankly it halfways rips off The Long and Winding Road by the Beatles.

Ha! Journey’s Faithfully made the list

Loved that song as a kid. Probably gave me chills the first time I heard it. Bit I Kinda hate journey as an adult. Speaking of journey have I ever mentioned that a girl I went to high school with married Neal Schon? And a few years later they got divorced I’m pretty sure.
