So, are the Rhythmiks and the HT more isolated from the neighbors than your living room system?

Yes, the HT is decently sound-proofed. We raised the floor and put insulation underneath plus there are double doors. We still try not to go overboard when watching movies and any late night music listening session I do is at low volume since the HT is right above their master bedroom.

I live in a townhouse with thick firewalls plus insulation between the units. The other day the neighbor next to me asked, "Are you watching movies we hear a lot of rumbling around the walls." I have turned things down a bit.
