This is a two-hour special on CNN, been played a lot since Frey's death, finally catching it tonight. Pretty good so far; I didn't know Glenn worked with Bob Seger (and is that high voice on the chorus of "Ramblin', Gamblin' Man", the Silver Bullets' first hit. Glad I hit Record, this is good so far.

Damn, I thought I had a bit of a grasp on the tangled relationships of LA country rock, but its a lot more complicated than I realized. I'll be re-watching this show a few times.

Pretty rocky road that band traveled for 10 short years with contention between band members. Glenn seamed to be the "glue" that held them together for their brief stint.

This thing is longer than I thought, I only watched "Part 1" last night, recorded Part 2 also.

This has been on my list for sometime now......
