Has anyone been keeping up with this series now in Season 5? Joanna and I binged on this series last year and caught up on the 1st 4 seasons in about a week and a half. While incredibly unrealistic and far-fetched I found it to be a great political drama. We're now a few episodes into season 5 and it's played upon current events so much and gotten SO ridiculous with its storyline, it's gone from great to nearly unwatchable for me. Damn!

I gave up on it a couple of years ago.
 
The wife and I stayed with it through season 1 but beyond that it's leftwing agenda is just too painful for a guy like me to watch...a shame really.

And by the by, I gave up on it years ago because I thought that its central premise, that a conniving, populist, egomaniacal, sociopath, misogynist back-stabber could become the President of The United States, was simply too far-fetched.

Netflix has parted ways with Kevin Spacey. Link Not sure what this means for season 6, as they were in production. It's too bad that this is probably the end of Spacey's acting career. I always thought he was a great actor, too bad he was such a creep off camera.

I've read some entertainment press articles claiming crew members on the current show are claiming Spacey is responsible for creating an unhealthy work environment for them.

You know what they say, a live boy or a dead girl are the only things that can end a career in Hollywood.

Swimming with Sharks is one of my favorite movies w/ Spacey.

Swimming with Sharks is a good movie, and wish Frank Whaley's career would have been bigger. It sounds like Kevin was kind of a slime ball, which is too bad, he made a bunch of great movies. I do think that there is a little irony in the fact that one of his first big films was Seven.
