I think I fried one of my amp channels..help please!

New AV unit went in and in my haste to rewire everything I managed to touch one of the input jacks and had left my preamp on. It sparked at the amp input. Tried another amp and I get audio in that channel. I assume I have fried that input channel? So my question is, have I just made a mono amp or can this be remedied? It is an old Parasound HCA 1000A.

Check fuse 1st. If the fuse is toast, replace and cross your fingers when you power it on. If the fuse again goes to toast, you've toasted that channel.

There may protection circuits for things like this. Unplug it from the wall outlet for a while and then try it again.
