Canada has pretty significant financial incentives for movie companies doing their production and post-production there. Other places also offer incentives to get the movie production business. That impacted me more than once.

Really? But the whole Wyatt Earp thing is definitely an American SW sort of tale... mostly in Arizona. But yeah, the tv series could be set elsewhere, I just don't remember the story well enough to say for sure, it was a while ago that I watched it. But I had to look up where it was filmed - Alberta (according to Google).
