In a spasm of middle-aged Rush fan excess...

I am going to see Rush in Boston this September and can barely contain my anticipation. That makes this a very dangerous time to discover the 40th Anniversary boxed sets they've been putting out for each album.

The R50 Super Deluxe Edition boxed set was the gateway drug, followed by Moving Pictures 40th Anniversary Super Deluxe boxed set, Permanent Waves 40th Anniversary Super Deluxe box set, and the Rush Signals 40th Anniversary Super Deluxe boxed set. I went looking for 2112 , A Farewell to Kings, and Hemispheres, but those were released long enough ago that they are rare and out of my price range ($500-1000). The regular Deluxe versions are still around at more reasonable price points and I just scored the LP version of the 2112 boxed set on eBay.

This is going to be a problem.

Let's hope Geddys illness passes quickly..... At his age, it's a crap shoot.
Fingers crossed. From everything I've read and from the clips I've seen on YouTube, the show looks amazing. My seats are nothing special (and still $240/ea.), but this is one show I don't want to miss. It is likely the last chance I'll have to see my favorite band again, even if it is without Neil.
