Big congrats. I love my Samsung. Two things. First find out how to put on HDR+ and apply to all settings. Best advice I can give you. It's like lifting a veil on colors on all your inputs. Just awesome. Second for about 40.00 buy the Samsung 4K hard drive it has ten 4K movies and about 30 mini documentaries all in 4K video. It's just a simple 1TB hard drive preloaded with 4K movies like Life of PI, Forrest Gump, The Book Thief, The Counselor, the first two Star Trek movies (with Chris Pine), World War Z and others. If you really want to show off what 4K can do. I went this route because I didn't want to spend 250.00 on a 4K player and 30.00 for each 4K movies when 1080p and 4K is almost hard to differentiate for me sitting back 10 feet but I still wanted to show off 4K when I have visitors well worth the 40.00 bucks. I'll post a link in a second and only works with Samsung 4K UHD TV's.

Anyone want to buy one of these? It's not compatible with my TV...

Strange it works great with my 2016 KS series Samsung TV. Do you have it plugged into the correct USB port. One is made for 4K and the other is a 1080p port. I read people plugged into the wrong USB port and we're having issues. I plugged mine into the 4K USB port and it worked right out of the box.

I'll check the manual regarding the USB ports or actually, just switch it..but when I try to play the video it specifically says "compatible with Samsung TVs manufactured between 2014-2016".
Whereas my TV was manufactured in 2017...

Forgot about this...but, tried the thing on both USB ports.
No go. The new 2017 TV will just not accept it.

Anyone want to purchase a barely used UHD 4K Samsung HDD with a bunch of movies on it?
Only good for Samsung TVs manufactured between 2014 and 2016.
