Jurassic Park Trilogy

I enjoyed the Bluray sound track and obviously the sharper picture better, I just wish the directors would stop changing things. I get all into the movie and then something changes and it detracts from my enjoyment. The scene itself didn't need to be edited considering we have dinos running amock. I mean why keep in the bloody leg from the goat that drops on the glass hood of the tour vehicles but delete liquid blood running down a muddy embankment. Im pretty sure if it was good enough to see in the theaters, it's going to be good enough to see in our homes (considering the general public paid for the movie in it's entirety.

Say you buy "Gone with the Wind" and the guy mixing the movie, decided that the word "damn" is much too harsh. So now it will be, "Frankly, my dear I don't give a dang" even though it's a simple change and a small one at best, don't you think that it will change the impact of the movie and especially that scene. Hence why simple edits piss me off and they are becoming more frequent.
