Lady GaGa sued for FLSA violations

Not to condon GaGa's employment practices, although if everyone hires an attorney to interprit FLSA regulation before employing personnel the job market and economy may suffer.

PS: I realize the GaGa example is an anomoly.

Well I think it is imperative that people either have an understanding of FLSA requirements or consult with someone who has an understanding or it would be really easy for someone to end up in a big hole like the Lady GaGa example.

To avoid reading volumes of literature from the U.S. Department of Labor telling you how much you have to pay, work hours, overtime hours...etc...etc...etc. , or hiring someone with intimate knowledge costing $$$$$$. Don't hire anyone.

The more regulations government imposes on employers, the more difficult it will become to gain employment.

The Lady GaGa example should have been avoided, since she probably has an army of attorney's on her payroll that should have advised her of the U.S. Department of Labor laws.
