Lightning Bolt

So, no Pearl Jam fans here I see.....

Well.... :eek:bscene-birdiedoublered: all of you then....

I'm going to their concert on October 30th.

:banana-rock:

Won't know what seats we have until we get there, but being that we're in the fan club (and have been since the early-mid 90's), the band takes care of us and we'll be up front. Always in the first 10 rows, and the last show we saw, we were in the front row.

At that concert, Eddie gave us his bottle of wine to share....Mike gave the pregnant woman next to us bottles of water throughout the show and the setlist at the end.

For those that still think "grunge"...they were never a "grunge" band....just a great live rock band. Their shows have so much energy and all attendees are really laid back and love to "ride the wave". They usually play 2 to 2.5 hour shows, so I'll have to be well rested. This go-around, no opening band. PJ takes the stage at 7:30 and own the night.

Woo-hoo! :banana-dance:

Nice!

I've actually heard of this band.

I have a couple of friends who are HUGE Pearl Jam fans but I wasn't that impressed with Yield and stopped buying their albums after that. Now that I've caught Pearl Jam Twenty on Palladia, I'll admit I have a renewed interest in the band. I bought Sirens off of iTunes while drunk and hanging out with one of the aforementioned friends and may have to purchase the cd.

^if you ever get the chance to play Cards Against Humanity while hanging out and drinking with good friends, I highly recommend it. I purchased three songs that night, only one of which was an accidental fuck up.

I'm a PJ fan but haven't bought this one yet. The songs I've heard have been really good. Hopefully I'll get a chance to pick this one up this weekend.

I loved Ten (and somehow came to own 4 copies on CD) but haven't cared much for their work since. I'll give this one a try though. Enjoy the show!
