Long-rumored Amazon Fire TV Cube finally announced

And another problem ...

I have the Cube connected to my TV’s HDMI port.
The TV is on but set to a different input.
The Cube apparently thinks it’s still on the active input because, even though it’s light is flashing, I can’t hear it’s response to any commands. I assume it’s sending it’s audio through the HDMI instead of its own internal speaker.

Oh well ... at least the TV on/off and the volume commands seem to work even when using another source.

Yeah.. I am not taking advantage of any of the voice command capabilities of my Cube that make it different from other Fire TV devices. I turned off the mic. I do occasionally speak into the mic on the remote, but that is a feature on all the Fire TV devices.
