if anyone enjoys a little high energy piano driven garage boogie rock then give the new record "Hi Honey" a whirl. Very well done with a satisfying mix of something old school sounding new. I will admit the founding members recruited a few friends of mine to be their backup band a few years ago so I may be slightly biased....but I think I'd like this regardless. Guests on the record include Merrill Garbus (tUnE-yArDs), Dean Ween (Ween), Greg Cartwright (Reigning Sound) and Vincent Pastore, who played Big Pussy on "The Sopranos."

I can't get youtube videos to work, here's the website http://lowcutconnie.com/. If you live where they are touring it's a very energetic live show and worth the night out.

You had my attention as soon as you mentioned 'boogie'. I immediately checked this out and then immediately came to two conclusions. The first, one of us doesn't know what boogie sounds like. The second, nearly every song on the album reminded me of the Stones.
