Mini Maggies on your desktop

For those who can afford it and want the Magneplaner sound on their desktop, or maybe as a system for a very small room. This is the latest from Magnepan, the Mini Maggie. For a hefty $1400.00 you get a True Ribbon Tweeter. Quasi ribbon midramge amd diplaner bass woofer that goes down to 50hz. A second bass unit is recomended for use as a small room system.

I have not heard this system myself but it has really impressed a lot people. For mysel,f I will stay with my Moonson 2000 planer/hybrid I bought refurbished at $150.00 back in 2003 off ebay.

Currently Magnepan is offering a special 30 day home trial, if anyone is interested.

Just put an order in for a pair. I needed something for my desk at work. Gonna power them with some krell monoblocks and a classe tube preamp. The source will be my pandora account from my blackberry. But its cool because I have sprint so I have unlimited data. I'll let you know how they sound.

Heck I have full-size pair at home you can flank your desk with at a 1/3 of that price!!
 
I didn't pay that much for my computer. Would if I could though. Looks like a nice set up. The B+W's are pretty cool too for a lot less money.
