Montage of Heck. Kurt Cobain Doc on HBO

anyone else watch this? Thoughts?

Was interesting getting insight on Kurt, though sadly disturbed it probably nurtured his art which arguably changed the face of music in the early 90's and gave modern times a legend the likes of Morrison/Hendrix/Marley etc. Montage of heck was a proper name though, it was kind of hard to watch at certain bits as it was very much a montage of heck! I would have preferred more insight from other artists, peers and Dave Grohl....but I'm sure Dave's beef with Courtney Love played a part in his omission.

I watched it and I'm kinda on the fence. It was like an artsy love-letter tribute to the man more so than a documentary. I would have liked to seen interviews with Grohl, but as you said I don't think he and Courtney can work on the same project. It was not what I expected it to be, but I think it perhaps did what it set out to accomplish. It was a glimpse into the life of a talented but disturbed man.
