Multiple identical BlueTooth receivers support on one phone?

I have this amazing little BlueTooth receiver I use in my work office which offers great sound, connectivity, etc. It is the Etekcity Unify modeil (link below). I like it so much I ordered another one to use in my new apartment. However, when I attempt to connect to the second/new one the phone cannot complete the link. It sees the new receiver when scanning for devices, but it gives it the same name and I fear the phone won't connect to it because it doesn't have the same serial number as the one already remembered in the system.

Do any of you guys have any experience with this and any advice? I can order a different receiver, but I'd rather not have to take the risk again.

Re: Multiple identical BlueTooth receivers support on one ph

That's odd. I have three identical Boston Acoustics sub-sat systems in my house, but each one has a different MAC address and my devices have no problem connecting to them one at a time. The problem is figuring out WHICH one to connect to, since they are all named the same thing.

Well, being a lazy bastard I just ordered a different model of NFV enabled Bluetooth audio receiver and it worked perfectly and sounds great, though it isn't as heavy and thus slides around the shelf I put it on (not a big deal, jut a small annoyance).

I brought the Unify back to Austin with me last night and I am going to try to troubleshoot the problem.
