My girlfriend and I recently bought a 50" HD TV which we plan to wall mount soon.
For the past few years I have been using my HK AV 230 with the optical audio in http://www.hometheaterhifi.com/volume_1 ... -2004.html

I now want a receiver that has has HDMI inputs, to not only limit the amount of cords going to the tv, but to also utilize the current audio formats.

I am limited on funds and was looking at this yammy model: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Yamaha+-+50 ... Id=4566122

It fits my budget and seems to have what I need. I am really just double checking to see if there is something or some product I am missing.

Currently running Klipsch RB-61s, RC 52 and jbl 10" sub. in a 3.1 set up

Any advise or suggestions welcome.
thank you

I strongly recommend http://www.accessories4less.com/

they sell refurbs and your $250 will go way further their.

All of my receivers at home are refurbs and they are perfect. I had questions about my denon I recently had and acc4less customer service new better than I did what the problem was and helped me fix it.

I picked up a refurbished Onkyo 414 from ac4l for my brother-in-law for $176 shipped, and I am really impressed with the fetures it has for the price you pay. It's amazing to me how many great features you get in today's receivers for not a lot of money.
