New Head Unit Manufacturers?

PRETTY HAPPY.........
Famous
I am thinking about putting a new head unit in my Chevy Silverado. One that will play off of a jump drive.

I am not looking to break the bank, maybe around $160 will all of the adapter plates and stuff.

Can any of you recommend a specific brand that has better quality than others.

Thanks!

Thank Botch.

Just curious if Kenwood, Pioneer, Alpine or others have a leg up on others.

I am not installing a killer system, just want an upgrade from stock and the ability to use a jump drive.

I installed 2; DB Drive 6.5" Coaxial; DB650.2 back in 2009 in the front doors to replace the blown stock speakers.

I have a pioneer unit that has an iPod interface, USB drive compatible and bluetooth to stream from my cell phone or whatever. I think I paid about $300 for it but that was several years ago.

Very happy with the Pioneer and Alpine units I have had in my truck.

I have a Kenwood in my Jeep. It has a 4 line display for artist, album, track, etc. It also has Bluetooth for hands free talk and/or streaming music from your smartphone.

I like it, but wished I had stayed with Pioneer like I had in my Wrangler. The Pioneer lacked Bluetooth, but I'm sure you could find one with built in BT.
