New Marantz Receiver

Less than you would expect. My SR6010 weighs about half what my old Onkyo TX-SR805 weighed.
Exactly half as it turns out according to what I found online: 25 lbs versus 50 lbs. Pretty amazing difference.

Going back some years...

My old to-be-refurbished Akai GXC-325D cassette deck weighs 19 lbs.

My old Pioneer SX-750 50 W/ch. stereo receiver of the same era, weighs 31 lbs.

Lots of solid steel, wood, and copper used in both of those.
