Onkyo Receivers

    Can anyone tell me what may be the difference in the Onkyo 608 vs the Onkyo HT-RC260?

    The Crutchfield website has a neat feature where you can select two items with checkmarks and it'll list all the features side-by-side, very handy. I'm pretty sure they carry Onkyo too. :handgestures-thumbup:

    Thanks, Crutchfield doesn't appear to carry the RC260...

    To a certain degree Onkyo, sort of like Denon, has an entry-level tier of 2-3 receivers that have a bit of an overlap of features at a reduced price. The "tx-nr" series would be a slight step up before going with an Integra or Onkyo Pro product. Much like Denon and their "ci" series before jumping into their separates...

    Yeah I found that on Onkyo after starting the thread. I really don't see anything above the RC that I need. Just a couple of components to connect. Don't need anything else.
