Oppo BDP-103

Oppo has discontinued the 93 and has a new offering in the BDP-103 to replace it.

Price is the same at $500. Just discovered it this AM so not sure what improvements were made. It does appear they have improved the networking function which was the one feature that was not all that good on the 93 IMO.

Wondering if "4K Upscaling" is the same thing as true 4K playback (and I don't think those kinds of discs are even on the market yet). So, I'm now two generations behind, but I still can't swing $500 for a new one. Drool-worthy, though! :eusa-clap:

My 83, which is in my secondary system, is starting to have some issues with the disc tray opening. And it is getting noisy. I hope it can last another year or so.
