FYI, I called Oppo today because I was curious about the lack of a fan for handling heat, Oppo said the Qdeo by Marvell chip set puts out lower levels of heat. Hence a fan is not needed, neat.

Yes they are, 1" H X 5", and the remotes are cute as a bugs ear.
