OS when considering a TV?

People forget that vision is one of our weakest and least effective senses, that's why it takes up so much mental energy to process sight. So, our brains are masterful at filling in anything missing in our vision. Now that color accuracy has reached near perfection out of the box with minor calibration effort and the color depth is beyond our capacity, the difference between perfect 4K and very well upscaled 4K and average quality upscaling to 4K only matters when comparing side by side TVs. When watching TV for an evening we'd never be able to tell it isn't as perfect as the other options out there. We are an order of magnitude more sensitive when it comes to sound.
