Question Out performing GR07 Bass Edition

I am just wondering how much more I would have to spend to find a set of ear buds that sound that much better then the GR07 bass Edition ear buds. It would also be nice if they had a detachable cord so if something happens to them.

I am really enjoying my GR07s though.

I owned GR07 (non bass edition) and DBA-02. The GR07's sounded muddy by comparison. Both were right around $250.00 and both are in the expired cable graveyard. Purchasing IEM's with removable/replaceable cables is a real money saver.

Never again will I buy any IEM that has a fixed cable. I get paranoid when I use my Ortofon. I can easily recommend the Shure line. My son has the $300 model and even my $100 model looks and feels like a much more expensive IEM.
