took the wife and 2 grandkids to okemo mountain in vermont for blues and bbq. Nobby Reed (a local blues man up 1st) great time, Favorite songs were' Condition Blue and 'Why"'

Did something similar, but instead of BBQ and Blues, it was Red Robin, then to Coolidge Park for the annual "Pops in the Park" with the Chattanooga Symphony. Pretty cool for those Aaron Copeland fans.

Got a really good fireworks show too. Thrilled the hell out of the little one.

Sounds like a good time had by all.

July is blues festival month around here too, and there are many . . . . .here and in surrounding cities.
Not always big name artists, but there is a whole lot of great talent that's not nationally known.

Good food, cold beer, fireworks, a great family atmoshpere, and excellent music.
Good stuff!
