...My friends 4 yr old did some serious damage to his speakers.....

Damn, hate to see that. I would love to have a nice 2 channel setup upstairs, but with my 2 year old, I'm better off letting a shot gun do all the damage.
 
The woofer damage may be fixable with MattB's XXX rated method he posted over at AVS forum. The tweeter... ouch, he may be SOL, especially because of that distinctive waveguide.
 
I got replacement drivers for my old Phantoms from Paradigm. That was a long time ago, but i am sure you can check with your local dealer and get it done.
